Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper, leaving overhang for easy removal.

  • Whip cream and powdered sugar until soft peaks form. Stir a spoonful into the cooled chocolate, then fold in the rest gently.
  • Spread mousse over cooled brownie base. Chill for at least 2 hours until set.
  • Heat cream until simmering and pour over ganache chocolate. Let sit 2–3 minutes, then stir until glossy.
  • Pour ganache over mousse, smooth surface, and chill 1 hour. Slice with a warm knife for clean edges.

Health Benefits:

Though rich in flavor, this dessert provides some antioxidants from dark chocolate, which may help support heart health. The whipped cream offers a small amount of calcium, and the cocoa powder contains iron and magnesium. However, due to its high sugar and fat content, this treat should be enjoyed sparingly.
